How Can chronic Asthma Along With Cough Be Treated?
My mother in law needs a cataract operation, but she has chronic asthma. Two doctors have told her that she cannot have the operation because her asthma could cause her to cough and that would disrupt her eyes healing. But if she doesn t have the operation she will eventually go blind. There must be a way for her to control her coughing one month
Hello Dear. Cataract operation is not an emergency. She can wait for a month. Once the cough and asthma is controlled she can go for a cataract surgery. Once the cataract surgery is done she will regain her vision. So there is no need to worry much.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
